House of Blues Recap

I am so excited to share with you about my most recent art show that I was able to be a part of!  I applied online to the RAW natural born artists website for a chance to be a part of their upcoming events.  I had reviewed their website and I was encouraged by their purpose of showcasing those who have RAW talent, not some manufactured ability.  I was contacted soon after submitting my application and there the excitement began!  I knew exactly what I was going to bring and I knew the purpose for the show right away.

I had a current body of work that I had begun working on but did not have a place for.  This was the event I had been waiting for.  The time needed to complete these pieces was available to me and I knew this portfolio would be the best fit for this event.  I began working on these figures and near the end of their production I was not fully sold on the final look.  I knew there was more that would come.  I decided to wash over these figures with the vibrancy of the color spectrum.  This was it!  This body of work has been the most fulfilling to create and has given the most inspiration to the masses.  I was excited to share these with the RAW community!

The day of the show arrived and I was excited to release this new portfolio in our city.  San Diego didn't know what they had coming!  The people I got to meet were amazing and being able to share the message behind the art was the most fulfilling.  People came a watched me paint live throughout the night, they asked questions, they shared their stories, they encouraged me in my journey, and I was able to give life and love to my community.

This portfolio represents God redeeming His form with His covenant.  Our society has taken the human form away from it's original creation as the image and likeness of the creator, to be an icon of lust and perversion.  This should not be.  The human form is the most intricate and beautiful thing in creation.  We are lost in love because our perspective of purity is so tainted by darkness.  We were also promised that mankind would not again be destroyed by water with the symbol of a rainbow.  The rainbow that day was our creators promise and covering over his creation.  His love for us was so great, that He limited His own ability by declaring a promise over us to protect what He had created and what He loves.

People throughout the night came back and listened to me tell my inspiration and my message over and over.  It was the best night I could have hoped for.  Time will be the indicator of the lives touched by this one night and I look forward to hearing the stories unfold.  I plan to take this portfolio to the masses!  This night gave me such a peace about the reason behind what I do.  I paint to inspire the world around me, to give light in their present darkness.  I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this event and I look forward to doing more very soon!   Watch out Las Vegas....I'm coming for you!!!!!

House of Blues Art Show

July 22nd is our next Art Show here in San Diego at the House of Blues downtown.  Kyle is excited about unveiling a new portfolio that he has not released on any social media outlet.  Only close family know about what he has been working over these last few months and he is bursting with anticipation to show the world what he has been creating.

This new work will be a powerful shift for all those who get the chance to view it.  The power behind these pieces are going to change hearts and minds.  There is so much to say about these but I will quit before I get ahead of myself.    These paintings.  Speak.  For.  Themselves.

Your support and encouragement helps me do what I do and enables me to carry the mission I am here to accomplish.  I hope to see you there!

Going Viral

We are taking our next step into the online world.  I love sharing my passion and my talent with people.  I could sit and talk to people about art and how I do what I do all day!  I have been rolling around the thought of a YouTube channel now for a few months, maybe even more than that.  We have yet to do it for a few different reasons, but I am excited about launching into this arena.  I want to be able to share the various things I have learned as an artist to other artists around the world.  I know what it is like to be the guy online searching a technique or simply gleaning advice from a fellow artist.  I know that I have valuable information that will help any type of artist.  There is a freedom that I have in my work and I am looking forward to sharing that with you all the those around the world very soon.  Some videos will be informational and then there will be some that are inspirational and some that may be in between.  I am looking forward to recording this week and getting our first video up in the next week.  So keep an eye out for this new venture.

Also check out our updated website!!!!!! My business manager, partner in life, director, best friend, and wonderful wife created a new website for Trudelle Galleries and I love it! TrudelleGalleries.com   So go check it out and share it with everyone you know.  I am so excited to be sharing this journey with all of you and I will be updating you more as we continue on!

Risen Magazine

Trudelle Galleries is on the brink of uncharted success.  The Fine Art world was created to be something very specific many many years ago.  What I do is something very different and something incredibly purposed.  I had the pleasure of meeting Kelli Gillespie at a business breakfast here in San Diego two months ago.  She was the guest speaker and it was powerful to see who she is and what she does in our society.  She is an entertainment reporter for San Diego, she travels to world to talk with celebrities and get their story.  Everyone has a story and a life they live underneath the day to day routine.  Too often we see people in Hollywood only on the big screen and on the cover of People Magazine associated with the latest scandal.  This causes us to forget that they are real people just like you and me.  Well, Kelli Gillespie is a different kind of reporter.  She focuses on real life, not the drama of the media.  The connections she creates with the stars is phenomenal and the influence she has on our entertainment world is something to be commended.  I was able to talk with her after the breakfast and thank her for speaking and sharing how she is impacting our world.  She was so kind and we had a great talk.  After talking for a short time about growing up in the same general area she asked what I do for work.  I was able to share a small portion of my work with her and talk about Trudelle Galleries.  This meeting was the beginning of something I believe I will look back on as our beginning.

Kelli and her team came to my house this last week to conduct an interview for her personal magazine, Risen magazine.  They came and viewed my current artwork, asked questions, and were able to see and touch these pieces in person.  It was so great to spend this time with them and get to share my story.  I know that these years of working and pouring my passion into my artwork is going to pay off, and in my lifetime! I am excited about charting into new territories changing the face of the art world forever.  Kelli will be featuring my story and Trudelle Galleries in her Fall issue of Risen Magazine.  Make sure to pick up your copy, or subscribe online to get your issue.  We are on the road to success and influencing our world for the better.

We all have our own gifts, talents, and abilities to offer the world around us.   No do believe the lie that tells you that you are just one person and you do not have an important assignment for this life.  Your life was created for this time, this generation, these people.  Live life in a pursuit to never give up.  Failure is part of the process.  It is an event, not a life.  You are important.  You are loved.  You have purpose.  Stay connected to Trudelle Galleries as we embark on this journey together.  Connection is part of our design.  Live life together.  Live life in victory!

Update:  The release date is September 1, 2014! You can visit RisenMagazine.com to subscribe and get your copy.

Works in Progress

This  warrior will depict the fight we engage in for our lives.  We must be ready and armored up for battle!

This will be a representation of Jesus and Peter walking on water in the midst of the storm.

This painting I will call "The Dreamer".  I will have a light source in the top left that will show him going into his dreams.

Valentine's Day 2014

My wife decided that she wanted to paint together this year on Valentine's Day.  We had not yet painted together; she has definitely spent countless hours watching me paint however!  We went through our many pictures on our computer until we came to this one.  This is a picture that I took in Oahu, Hawaii last April while we were on a Fitness Retreat with her friends. It was the best four days we have ever had! We both got to surf for the first time, we had an awesome hike, we volunteered our time at a local school, and more.  We created such great memories and we met some of the most amazing people. So this painting has a special place in our hearts as it has so many reminders of those days on the island. I was so proud of her abilities as we painted together. It was a great painting session and I hope to do more with her in the future.

Canvas Murals

I have such a passion for Fine Art, while I also have a background of doing large scale murals.  On my recent project I was able to merge the two.  This is a 6' x 9' canvas mural.  Canvas murals are painted on high quality canvas and primed with a specific primer to make them durable.  These are great alternatives to standard murals because they are not 100% permanent.  This gives the client the assurance they can take their Fine Art with them if they are to move.  Many people are hesitant to murals because they are location sensitive, and the production can be difficult for both parties.  Not anymore!  This was my clients main concern and the reason we ventured down this road.  The result has been so amazing and I am looking forward to doing many more in the future!  If you are interested in a canvas mural for yourself contact me through our contact page at trudellegalleries.com.
